This is a reminder that a combined CHB Progress Association and Community Alliance meeting will be held this Sunday (26th July 2026) at 3pm in the Catho Surf Club. Agenda items will include:
Coastal path planned from Budgewoi to Caves Beach – we welcome Stacey Wilson from NPWS as our guest speaker to talk about the recently announced walking trail between Caves Beach and Budgewoi, incorporating the coastal path to be built in Catho.
Proposed community purchase of Catho Pub – following on from the meeting in Swansea Library in May, a group of community members has been working on a proposal for community ownership of the pub. The update from this working group will set out the proposed structure and arrangements, updating on discussions with the seller and will be seeking Expressions of Interest from community members interested in investing.

Village green maintenance – avenues to achieve action from Council
Clean up Catho needs – call for volunteers
Community watch idea – call for volunteers to set up a community watch group
Trivia night – call for volunteers to run the annual trivia event
